Hi everyone! I’m Ava, the creator of Pixel Hollow Design. Some of you may be wondering, “What is this website about?” Pixel Hollow Design is my website that I developed so that I could sell easy-to-download, printable coloring sheets that I have illustrated. I created Pixel Hollow Design because I love graphic design, and I’m especially fond of Illustrator. I also like to color, and I have always wanted to illustrate my own coloring sheets.

The idea for this started as a class project for one of my graphic design courses. In this class, we were tasked with coming up with a concept and creating our own websites. That is how Pixel Hollow Design was born. I knew I wanted to create something bigger than just a personal portfolio. I wanted to create something that would give me a chance to illustrate and share my passion with others.

Aside from graphic design and coloring, some of my other hobbies include crafting and reading. I love to crochet, knit, and I have recently learnt how to embroider. One of my favorite book series is Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber. You can read about how I created fan art inspired by that series in another class here. In the future, I plan to illustrate some coloring sheets inspired by my hobbies and favorite books, so keep an eye out for those!

In addition to being a really fun hobby, coloring also helps reduce stress and increase focus. I want to help people ease their minds by providing them with easily printable coloring sheets of scenic pictures or cute woodland animals that will be easy to print and color while relaxing.

Have you ever wanted a specific coloring sheet, but you couldn’t find one to download? Look no further! In these upcoming weeks, I plan to take coloring page requests. I will select a few ideas that were submitted and pick a few from the suggestion box. Then I will create a poll, and the design with the most votes will be the next coloring sheet theme I illustrate. Of course, I can’t do that without your help, so submit the coloring sheet themes you would like to see via my contact form.

There are so many different ways to color the same coloring sheet. I want to see how you color them! Once the coloring sheets are out, I want to form a gallery of pictures submitted by you of my coloring sheets that you have uniquely colored, so that everyone can see. Once you have finished coloring one of the pages, submit a picture of it via my contact form and share why you picked that one and which coloring sheet you want to color next!

At present, I am still working on illustrating the first batch of coloring sheets. However, I hope to have them out within the next month, so please come back and check then! If you have any ideas you would like to see, let me know by submitting a request through my contact form.
